Hi Emily.
Thanks for writing! You'd be shocked how many boomers are absolutely confounded by new technology, and we're well aware that not everyone in that age bracket is confused.

I'm not sure if you visited Wyn's profile on our site (Wyn authored this article), but you'll note that he's 60 years old, and has been into computing since the day when it was feasible to have one in your home/office, so you're in quite good company!

At FoleyPod, we're all for technology being easy for everyone, regardless of age or level of experience. This article was intended to report some common insider observations about where the interest-level and excitement was coming from for the iPad, from Wyn's own experience working largely with the Boomer age group.

Thanks again for writing, and I'd love to hear more of your insight and experience in the future.

~Chris

Hey, there are other 50+ year olds who know how to do a LOT more than type an occasional email! We weren't "forced" into computers! We've evolved with them and we go WAY BACK with 'em. I bet you young whippersnappers don't even know what a GRID computer laptop from 80's with plasma screen is/was! So there. Please don't lump us 50+-ers with the over 80 set that may need some hand-holding.<br> Harrumph!
