Website Makeover: Dave Mason’s Official Music Site

When Guitar Legend and Rock and Roll Hall-of-Famer Dave Mason needed a new website to promote his music, he wanted something modern, but not so modern that it would scare people away.

One major issue with websites as they age, is that they will usually be maintained by several different people, and they tend to get rather cluttered rather quickly, as new features are added, especially when these features are not within the original scope of work.

Dave’s existing website was several years old, and didn’t reflect his own musical evolution. He also needed a site which was scalable, and could grow as new features and technologies become available.

This was our challenge. Here are some before and after shots.

Note the logo on the upper left. Dave needed a re-brand and a logo which could tell a modern tale. Here’s what we came up with.
